I am Gianna, being apart of Uplifting Society has been a wonderful experience. Uplifting society allows me to use my gift as a photographer by taking pictures and video taping the sessions. I also assist with connecting the company to the various social media sites. The information that is provided in the classes help me with my everyday struggles. My attitude and outlook on life is more positive because of what I have been taught while attending classes with Uplifting Society.
I have been attending The class sessions with Uplifting Society since September of 2015. These classes have assisted me with personal issues and how to handle peer pressure. I've also learned some independent living skills that would help me to accomplish things for the future I've made a lot of friends and learned how to interact with others in different settings. The instructors encourage me to express my thoughts and concerns and they help me arrive at the best solution possible. I love what Uplifting Society stands for and will continue to attend classes to learn more.
My name is Essence, and I’m a member of Uplifting Society. Uplifting Society has helped me in so many ways. I have learned skills that help me with my attitude, making the right decisions, resecting myself and others, and skills that will help me to be successful in life. I have been taught leadership skills and how to dress and act for a job interview. This group has really helped me change my life for the better. I was heading down the wrong path and I was not listening to my parents or other authority figures. Being in this group and listening to the different instructors helped me to understand how I needed to change. I am a better role model to younger kids, and now have the tools to help them and direct them in the correct path. I love coming to Uplifting Society group meetings, it really helps use all out. Kids love coming here. Besides we all need tips on how to be a better leaders and how to have a better future!
